What does a concert look like?
Jeremy performs solo on vocals, acoustic guitar and piano. He plays an evening of songs taken from his five studio albums and also incorporates some of the Indelible Grace hymns into the setlist. He also talks about the stories behind the songs he’s playing and shares about the ministry of Compassion International.
What venues does Jeremy play?
Jeremy plays in churches, colleges, and anywhere else someone wants to host him for a concert.
How much does a concert cost?
There are several variables that affect cost, but many people are surprised by how affordable hosting a concert can be. There are also several ways to recoup expenses that can even make a concert cost-neutral to the host. We would be glad to talk through the different options with you.
My church has never had a concert. Why should we consider hosting one?
Surprisingly, most churches who’ve hosted Jeremy have never hosted any kind of concert before. The reason why they want one is not just to have an “event” but to help their congregation and the community at large by ministering to them in a unique way through songs and stories that are saturated in the Gospel.
I love Jeremy’s music but my church isn’t familiar with his work. A concert wouldn’t work, right?
Most of these concerts are at churches who aren’t familiar with Jeremy’s music, but happen because someone in leadership at a church loves his music and wants to share it with others. There are several effective ways to invite people unfamiliar with this music to come to a concert that we would be glad to discuss with you based on your particular situation.
Is my church too small for Jeremy to play?
Probably not...Jeremy plays churches of all sizes, from ones whose weekly attendance is in the thousands, to churches with fewer than 100 people.
My church doesn’t own its own meeting place, how could we host a concert?
Churches who don’t own their own space still have options for hosting a concert. Some ideas include renting your normal venue, partnering with another church, or hosting in a church member’s home. We would be happy to talk through these and other options with you.
